Your Academic Advisors serve as your personal contacts for helping you through the Beeghly College of Education. Professional, full-time, advisors meet with students on an individual basis to provide assistance with scheduling classes, understanding the appropriate sequence for each program's curriculum, and resolving problems. Their primary goal is to assist you in completing your academic program successfully and in a timely manner.
Advisors are available to assist students throughout the year and students are strongly encouraged to utilize their services as often as necessary. Although walk-ins are accepted in emergency situations, students are normally required to schedule an appointment to assure that the advisor has the opportunity to secure any information and/or records required, to best serve the student.
Below are some web links to program information important to all teacher candidates. Exam these guidelines carefully when you select your teaching field(s) and continue to review them on a regular basis with your Advisor as you plan your program.
